A growing Engineering Firm takes an established Architecture firm in house

Noted local Architect Joe Yates wanted to eventually retire from his decades-old JFY Architects, but didn’t want to stop working. Filament tried multiple strategies, including bringing on junior architects to gradually take over and talking with larger local firms, but found the perfect fit with a growing Engineering Firm, Process Design and Service. Owner Greg Barlage wanted to both bring architectural services in house and also add on engineering services to Joe’s book of business. Joe has been able to continue being an architect while not having to worry about the business part of his business.
