New owners buy the Coco and Hazel chain to grow the brand

Laura Hinkle, with Capital One, and her friend Carrie Walker, owner of a mental health practice, had spent several evenings dining at Coco and Hazel together, talking about how much they loved it and what they would do to change it if they owned it. Already in that headspace, when they read our listing, they had to learn more. When they realized that their favorite space was for sale, they decided to dive in as an investment and a project using their current and long dormant food service skills to start a delicious project together. The sellers had just bought the business a year prior from the founder, and had done much to modernize and clean up operations, but had to leave for family reasons.
